Medical
Benevolence Association
This organization supports medical missions throughout the world. They are active in supporting the poor in Bangladesh, restoring sight to people in India, teaching nurses in the Congo, and have established a hospital and school of nursing in Haiti, along with numerous other projects. As they provide medical services, they also teach and show by example the love of Christ. In Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, there is less than one nurse for every 3000 people. There is also a great need to improve the way nurses relate to patients as well as to raise the standards of nursing care provided.
